Archmedium Competition- Auditorium of Light
In collaboration with Matthew Rosier
As residents staying in the Hotel leave their cabins, they stand on suspended walkways among the trees and observe the performance of the changing light in the reflection in the observatory complex roof. The main observatory complex roof becomes a canvas to the play of light, and allows the interaction between architecture and mother nature. One observes the aurora borealis both from the inside through the telescope and from the outside through the water reflections.
